Treatex Exterior UV Oil

Treatex UV Oil - a high quality finishing oil that provides long lasting protection for exterior wood such as doors, windows, cladding and most other vertical timber

Manufactured from a combination of natural, refined oils, Treatex UV Oil penetrates into even the most dense types of timber, providing a long lasting, water and UV resistant protection

Application - previous finishes should be removed to allow the oil to penetrate into the timber fully, ensure timber is dry and clean, removing dirt, grease and algae before applying, timber moisture content must be below 18% and the ambient temperature should be between 8 and 25°c

Stir cans thoroughly before and during use, apply with a quality brush or roller, applying in the direction of the wood grain, apply liberally to any end grain

Leave to dry for 12 hours before applying a second coat of UV wood protection

Treatex UV Oil can also be used over Treatex External Oils and must be used over External Oak Colours 

Note: Not suitable for use on horizontal surfaces such as timber decking etc.
