The process involves exposing the wood to ammonia fumes that darken the wood from within, giving a warm, deep colour whilst maintaining the natural grain and texture of oak, the process enhances the natural colour variations in oak, creating a truly unique floor
Kahrs Smoked Oak Engineered Floors:-

- Finish - available in handscraped, brushed, natural oiled and lacquered finish
- Material - smoked oak has a rich warm tone with variations exaggerated in the fuming process
- Construction - multi-layer spruce backing with an smoked oak top-layer and Kahrs Woodloc Joints system
- Installation - can be installed as a floating floor over underlay or fully bonded to the sub-floor
