Cork expansion strips - used during the installation of flooring to provide a gap between the floor and the wall or any fixed objects in the room, that cannot be covered by skirting or beading, the cork material is soft and flexible and allows for natural expansion and contraction of the flooring material
When exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, most flooring materials will expand or contract slightly, without adequate expansion gaps, the flooring could buckle or crack
The installation of cork expansion strips is relatively easy, simply cut to size and then glue into place with a flexible adhesive, once installed, they create a neat and finished look while allowing the flooring to move freely

Suitable for use with flooring 14 - 16mm thick ie. engineered hardwood flooring
Can be stained, lacquered or oiled once installed
Approx. 915mm long (36") - sold in packs of 10 lengths
