Treatex Hardwax Oil ULTRA Soft White

Treatex Hardwax Oil Ultra Soft White - designed to help retain the natural light colour of timber such as Oak, Ash, Beech, Birch and Maple, tinted with natural white pigments - leaving an almost unfinished look

Suitable for floors, doors, stairs, skirting, furniture and toys, it provides a durable, water resistant finish

• Resistant to spills of water, wine, beer, coffee, tea, fizzy drinks etc.
• Suitable for childrens toys: IN EN71-3
• Contains ni biocides, preservatives or carcinogens
• Tinted with Natural White Pigments
• Low Odor - meets with VOC emissions regulations
• Not suitable for use on dark timbers

Can also be used as a top coat over Treatex Hardwax Colour - Spruce, simply apply one coat of Ultra Soft White to give a whiter white finish (must be applied within 24 hours of applying the ColourTone Spruce)

Application

All previous finishes should be fully removed, sanding off using 80 - 120 grit sandpaper

Sawdust should be removed with a vacuum or tac cloth (Do NOT wash the surface with white spirit / water etc after sanding)

Apply one thin coat with a brush or short pile microfibre roller (if applied to thickly, the final finish may leave a slightly white/hazy finish)

Leave to dry for 3 - 6 hours before applying a second thin coat - leave to dry minimum 8 hours

Allowing sufficient ventilation to the room is essential for reliable drying times
