For oily or dense hardwoods thin with 10% Treatex Thinner

Application

All previous finishes should be fully removed, sanding off using 80 - 120 grit sandpaper

Sawdust should be removed with a vacuum or tac cloth (Do NOT wash the surface with white spirit / water etc after sanding)

Apply the first coat with a brush or short pile microfibre roller

Leave to dry for 3 - 6 hours before applying a second coat - leave to dry minimum 8 hours

Allowing sufficient ventilation to the room is essential for reliable drying times
